Cell phones: Are they dominating us? Are we breaking up because of them?
Today
we live in a world in which each person lives attached to his or her
electronic device, either the cell phone, the computer, the tablet. On
the street people walk without a real will, but rather as if they were
the emptied body of a puppet and the puppet master is of course (and in
this case) the cell phone.
It is well known that people prefer to watch their phone all the time
to fully interact with the other person who is supposed to be having the
conversation. It's that good? Well, that is “natural” today, in this
XXI century.
So, now you know… and remember… live every day as if it was the last day!
Every time we forget about the warmth that
gave us long walks with the sunset behind us, or the evenings on the
roof watching the stars, and holding a deep conversation with a
colleague, friend or family member who is that someone who supports us
in good and bad times. Instead, we prefer the exchange of knowledge and "humanity" through social networks.
It’s such our obsession with technology that
even couples that has formed in this millennium and had broken their
commitment (and hey you, remember this) it has been for a stupid text message
without any rationality, it’s just crazy! If they have had "the talk"
in person, perhaps they wouldn’t had the broke up. But life is so. Could
you tell me, how long will you do that people? In Kidshealth.org there is an interesting article about breaking up with somebody, and they
say that you need to have respect for the other person, and explain to
her, or to him, and in a good way why you feel different about the
relationship, or why that person doesn’t make you feel in love, or
happy, but you need to be sure about your decision because you can hurt
deeply to your couple. And do it personally, not by cell phone.
And when a stupid boyfriend wants to leaves you:
Well there are a lot of websites that tell you very well how to break up with you couple, and in this site: News.com.au,
there is an article very funny about how people break up for good with
that no more special person. For example, let’s say that your boyfriend
tells you something like this (by cell phone):
Boyfriend: I need to talk with you…
You: yes babe?
Boyfriend: I need space…
You: space for what?
Boyfriend: always being stupid! I don’t love you anymore ok?
You: alright! But, you know that I’m getting merry tomorrow, right? So… no problem!
Boyfriend: WHAT?? But… but..!! But! I was kidding! Hey… hello?
