A sick society: are we all becoming murderers? Are we just a Mr. Hyde?
Mental illnesses are conditions that affect many in today's society, either by stress, being an inherited condition, or because you suffered some trauma in your life. Although, it is known that mental illnesses have existed for centuries, and so the rise of psychology and psychiatry, but just until this millennium that has more control and greater knowledge of the usual characteristics of each of the diseases that can affect our mind.
One is schizophrenia,
a medical condition that if medications are not taken to treat it can
make your life miserable, because you become an individual without
control of your actions, live every minute tormented by voices that are
in your head but you think they come from outside. You can become a
highly aggressive and dangerous for those around you; you might even get
to kill someone in one of your episodes of madness.
A schizophrenic when doesn’t take drugs may
be someone who in a given moment bursts into strong emotions and let out
his actions be like all in his head ever imagined and that are distant
to normal behavior.
Much can be said about a schizophrenic, but perhaps there are some individuals in society that are "normal" but they still being worse than the devil. Did not serial murderers were motivated people who once trusted?
Until when we will read in the news about
these murder cases that deep inside fascinate us? Our darkness fills the
corners of our homes. Let us not allow our Mr. Hyde seizes us and hurt our loved ones.
Keep us together for a better society, for a better humanity, aware of
its shortcomings but alert to prevent accidents, to prevent growing
children are victims of the evils of our sick past.
