Food: important issue for women, for Africans, and for Venezuelans
Food
has always been an important issue in mankind history, because thanks
to the food we eat every day, we can survive or just live well with the
rest of our decisions in life. The food we eat allows us to continue
walking, and putting a step and then another on the floor, and makes us
grow up. And when we
are just babies, our moms are in charged of feeding us well, in a way
to see us develop our skills as human beings, as citizens in this
globalized society that we are living, and of course, keeping us save from the dangerous world that every day is trying to make us remember that we are vulnerable.
In this huge continent: Africa,
there are hundreds of people dying because the lack of food and water,
and the rest of the world is just watching what happens next; but there
are some famous organizations like the United Nations, as we know, that
helps in the best way people from it, could do. However, most of
the population in Africa still being hungry. And it isn't the only
territory that lives this situation, also in Latin America; Venezuela is an example of that.
Finally, it is important to say that we aren't machines or some technological androids; we are alive, and we need food, and governments around the world need to be focus on that matter and teach people how to harvest because only Mother Earth could save us from this possible future: cannibalism.
Women: "angry animals"
That woman or those women who are mothers
and care about their kids, and don't have enough money to maintain a
high level life style, but they do have the money for survive a day more,
are in a perfect position to talk about how food (no matter how small
or insignificant it is) could make her and her family to stay alive, and
how strong they became with this kind of situations.
In this sense, people could say, and in fact they had always said it,
those women who are taking care of another human being and don't have
all the facilities for doing it, develop some kind of special sense of motherhood and they become "angry animals",
like angry female lions that want to protect their children, and they
would do whatever it takes to maintain the welfare of these kids.
Poor people:
