[Henry Jesús Camino Muñoz] Ways to take care of your city
How to help your city?
Many people love just saying that they are doing everything fine and that the problem of their city are because of the politicians who are the ones in charge. However, isn’t that like a very easy way to get rid of one’s responsibilities which we can’t let happen? There are many things that you can do for your country as a citizen and you should remember that you are going to be able to do more for your country if you learn about what you are potentially able to do:
- Keep learning about your area and see how you can help.
- Be informed about what your neighbors may need and try to help with what is in your possibilities.
- Throw garbage away which you are likely to see on the floor not so many miles away from your house.
- Improve your own education.
- Save more water and electricity.
- Try not to use resources unnecessarily.
- Recycle and learn about the materials that you can recycle.
- Have respect for others.
- Be a better example for others.
- If you think you are not a good citizen work on becoming a better one.
- Do not throw away cigarettes on the floor.
- Donate to charity which will also give you a better consciousness of your own money.
- Help people who are homeless.
- Stand out when you see that there are kids that are being taunted or abused.
- Be courageous and loving.
When it is about becoming a better person in your city you have no excuse to say it is not possible, there are many ideas to contribute in your country. See it also from the bright side, you would be improving a lot as a person and you can get a better understanding on how to be a better person and you may inspire others which would be twice as good! It may take some time to see results but be calmed and you will get there! Citizenship is for heroes!
