Henry Jesús Camino Muñoz - Waking up after a breakup.
“Perfect illusion” is one of the newest songs by Lady Gaga, in which she says something that many people have experienced before: he or she wasn’t the one. When we fall in love with somebody, we usually give everything that is in our hearts, we give it all. However, sometimes the person we think is the perfect one for us isn’t perfect at all. So, the situation becomes a real mess and out of the things you live with that person, there's nothing more than a perfect illusion left.
It wasn’t true love:
When people realized that the things they live with their partners weren’t love exactly, but an illusion, they usually get depressed and they forget about everything else for a while before they finally wake up from that nightmare. They see that the only thing they needed was themselves to be happy.
You can see on the news that many celebrities after they lived a dream with their couples, they couldn’t continue having that dream and they decide to get divorced. And even when we know that those marriages don’t last forever, it makes us believe that we need to have a perfect romance as well, finally we spend our entire lives looking for the right one, but we don't really see who is the person we are in love with until is too late.
“Brangelina”:
Take, for example, Brad Pitt and Jenifer Aniston, what happened to them even when they really looked like the perfect couple in Hollywood? Then, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, they have a lot of kids together, but they are now getting into divorce. So what is the real problem here? Weren’t they in love? What is there left for the rest of humanity?
Relationships are tough and couples come and go; the real subject here is how you feel with every breakup, how you feel after having the perfect partner and then losing him/ her.
Sometimes, it is difficult to get over things, but when we actually do it, we transform into powerful and very strong people who can do whatever if we focus on our goals.
And you… Are you ready to let things go? Let them go, let good things happen and you’ll see that nothing is impossible.
